There is a lot of talk today that at 2pm he will be claimed….The Hawks, Sens, Habs and Oilers are three possible destinations….I would be very surprised if he went through waivers…

Friedman explained on the 32 Thoughts podcast this morning that the something else coming is the call-up of two D because they're running out of bodies on the blue line, up against the cap and didn't want to send down any of their waivers exempt players. Edmonton having the 15th best record in the league it seems unlikely he'll make it past 17 teams. He also has 1.45M cap hit. |
